Mazda is enjoying a rising profile in Australia, with the 2015 financial year its best ever in terms of total car sales.
The Mazda 3 hatch has proven particularly popular in recent years - in 2011, it became the first imported car to top Australia’s list of best-sellers. And it's made the top five every year since, with the CX-5 joining it in the top ten this year.
All current Mazda models have achieved five star ANCAP safety ratings. And in 2015, CNN Money named Mazda the fourth most reliable car brand.
