Despite Holden ceasing onshore manufacture in 2017, the brand is synonymous with Australian motoring.
While many models will no longer be available (notably the popular Commodore V8), the company is committed to the market - they have made assurances future parts availability will not be an issue. And because the Commodore was the top-selling model between 1996 and 2010, second-hand models in particular will not suffer from scarcity of replacement parts.
All current Holden models carry 5-star safety ratings.
