Win $10k towards a Rapid Finance Car Loan - Competition terms and conditions are shown below:

1. Competition

  1. Competition starts at 12AM on 1/9/2016 AEST and ends at 12AM on 16/12/2016 AEST (competition period).
  2. The winner is to be announced at 10AM on 19/12/2016.
  3. Entries received outside of the competition period will not be accepted.
  4. The promoter is Rapid Finance (Aust) Pty Ltd (ABN 62 098 624 483) of 98 Agar Drive, Truganina, Victoria 3029.
  5. This competition is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner.

2. Eligibility

  1. Entry is open to all Australian residents aged 18 years and over.
  2. Entries accepted via Facebook only.
  3. You must have an active Facebook account in order to enter.
  4. Officers, employees, agents, contractors and consultants to Rapid Finance (Aust) Pty Ltd, Authorised Representatives, Rapid Finance's related entities and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
  5. The promoter may exclude any entry that does not comply with competition terms and conditions and will not be required to give a reason for doing so.
  6. If requested by the promoter, the winner must present proof of age and residency.
  7. The winner must permit Rapid Finance to publish the winner's name and winning entry on any and/or all of Rapid Finance's digital publications
  8. The winning post must be live at 12AM on 16/12/2016 AEST
  9. Entries posted on an individual's own Facebook wall must feature the complete competition hashtag exactly as it appears here: #Rapid10kGiveaway (excludes comments posted on Rapid Finance ads and promoted posts).
  10. Entrants that do not comply with these terms and conditions will be disqualified.
  11. In the event that you do not qualify for a car loan, you can nominate the prize onto an eligible person (such as a friend or family member). The winner must not receive financial compensation or payment for passing the prize onto this person.

3. How to enter

  1. The competition question is "How would $10,000 towards a car loan change your life?"
  2. To enter eligible entrants must answer the competition question.
  3. Entries to be submitted via Facebook on a competition advertisement or post. Or, in a post on the entrant's own Facebook wall.
  4. Entries to be text only.
  5. Entries must not exceed 1000 words in length.
  6. Multiple entries are permitted.

4. Exclusions

  1. The promoter reserves the right to remove any entry or comment deemed to be inappropriate, at their discretion, and will not be required to provide a reason for any such removal.
  2. Entries will be considered invalid if they include:
    1. misleading or deceptive material
    2. breach of third party intellectual property rights
    3. discriminatory, obscene or defamatory material
    4. material which breaches Australian law
    5. material which breaches the Facebook Terms of Service

5. Judging criteria

  1. The competition winner will be chosen based on the creativity, originality and popularity of their entry.
  2. Popularity refers to reactions (including likes, comments and shares) to your entry.
  3. Purchasing of reactions will result in immediate disqualification.
  4. Valid entries will be judged by an independent adjudicator using a set of criteria laid out by the promoter.
  5. Judging will commence at 10AM on 16/12/2016 AEST
  6. The winning entry must adhere to stipulations included under '3. How to enter' and '4. Exclusions' (see above, '3. How to enter' and '4. Exclusions').
  7. The winner must meet the requirements outlined under 2. Eligibility (see above, 2. Eligibility).
  8. The winner of the competition is chosen at the judge's discretion. The judge's decision is final. No further communication will be entered into.
  9. If for any reason the winner cannot be contacted before 5PM on 19/1/2017 AEST, then the prize will be forfeited. It is the winner's responsibility to respond.

6. The prize

  1. The promoter is offering entrants the chance to win $10,000 towards a Rapid Finance car loan.
  2. There is only 1 prize. Therefore, the total prize pool is $10,000 towards a Rapid Finance car loan.
  3. The prize can be put towards a new or existing Rapid Finance car loan.
  4. The prize cannot and will not, under any circumstances, be exchanged fully or partly for cash.
  5. The prize must be taken as offered, it cannot be varied.
  6. The promoter accepts no responsibility for tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings.
  7. Normal car loan setup fees, application fees and commissions apply.
  8. In the event that the winner chooses to refinance an existing car loan in order to take advantage of the $10,000 prize, all fees and charges associated with refinancing (including early exit fees) are to be paid by the loan holder (the competition winner). Rapid Finance will not cover these costs.

7. Notification and publication of the winner

  1. The name of the winner and the winning entry will be published on the Rapid Finance Facebook page.
  2. The winner's name and their winning entry will also be published on Rapid Finance's other digital properties, including their website and resource centre.
  3. The winner will initially be notified via Facebook Direct Message. We will then request a contact telephone number to further discuss the awarding of the prize.

8. Facebook acknowledgement

  1. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook.
  2. Comments or complaints regarding this promotion will be directed to the promoter not to Facebook.
  3. Entrants release Facebook and its associated companies from all liability arising in respect of this promotion.
