The Subaru name is enjoying a rising profile in Australia. That's probably thanks to its reputation as a manufacturer of highly dependable cars - CNN Money recently named them as the 5th most reliable car brand.
In terms of popularity, Subaru just about cracked the top 10 car brands in Australia last year. And the Subaru Outback picked up best family SUV below $50,000 in the 2015 Australia's Best car Awards.
All current Subaru models carry 5-star safety ratings, putting the Japanese-made cars amongst of the safest on the market.
